MEET THE CLUTCH TEAM.
We are four high school students that attend One Stone, a high school that specializes use the Stanford University Design Thinking model. Clutch is the end product of a 10-week design thinking challenge focused on distracted driving. The team is now taking Clutch to the next level, moving it from concept to reality as a start up venture. Currently in beta, Clutch will be an IOS and Android app that anyone, anywhere, with a phone can use to gain rewards. We went this route to get to the root of the problem– phone use while driving– and stop it in its tracks.
With Clutch, we are aiming to end the distracted driving epidemic. Clutch is a mobile app designed to combat distracted driving through user rewards and gamification. The user activates the app while driving and gains points for not accessing their device. The user can redeem points for individual or workplace incentives. Clutch aims to enhance the world’s drive to just drive.
